The Prize
The Neriv Christian Fiction Prize is a literary award for writers who desire to make God known through story. Our name comes from the Hebrew word ner, meaning “lamp,” drawn from Psalm 119:105: ‘Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.’
Mission
We created Neriv to encourage writers whose faith shapes their fiction. Through annual prizes, resources, and community, we seek to magnify Christ in contemporary storytelling.
